Roles: who can do what
What Admin and Nurse can see, and how to choose what everyone else can open.
- Two positions see everything automatically. Admin sees the whole center, including User Management, the audit log and company settings. Nurse / Health Care Coordinator (HCC) sees the floor, every clinical tab (RN, MAR, Care Plan) and Reports.
- Every other position starts with the daily floor only. That covers Program Director, Executive Director, Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator and Personal Care Assistant. You tick what each person should see.
- Inside a participant's chart you can grant Care Plan, MAR, RN, the Admin tab and the Family tab. Whole sections of the app you can grant are Inquiries, Reports, Employee Management, Company Info, User Management and Audit Log.
- Set this when you add someone in User Management, under "What this user can see". To change it later, click Edit on their row. The boxes show what they have now.
- Ticking nothing is a real choice. A driver or a cook can have the floor and nothing else, so nobody sees a medication record they have no reason to open.
- User Management and Audit Log are worth a second thought. The first lets someone change what everyone else can see. The second shows who opened which record.
- Employee self-service (Vacations, Handbook) is separate. It's on for every staff member unless you untick it.
- Guardian / Family accounts get a read-only view of their own loved one, and nothing else.
